WATER STEWARDSHIP IN ACTION IN OUR BREWERY OPERATIONS
In the state of Sonora, Mexico, where our Obregón Brewery is located, we collaborated with the Yaqui River Irrigation District to support infrastructure upgrades to improve irrigation efficiency and reduce demand in this agricultural region, increasing the efficiency of the irrigation system and reducing the amount of water lost.
WATER STEWARDSHIP IN ACTION IN OUR WINE AND SPIRITS OPERATIONS
Ruffino in Italy has three state-of-the-art water treatment plants as well as three phytoremediation plants. These help ensure wastewater is treated to high environmental standards before being returned to local waterways or repurposed for irrigation. This process aims to reduce the environmental impact of wastewater discharge, with the goal of managing the water used in our operations more responsibly.
