Wherever Constellation Brands has a significant presence, it is our goal to be part of the community and contribute in ways that enrich the lives of people residing in those areas. 

Donation requests must align to Constellation’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and focus areas included in the guidelines below.

Please understand due to the volume of donation requests we receive, we are unable to accommodate all requests even if all guidelines are met.

CONSTELLATION BRANDS DONATION GUIDELINES SUMMARY:
Organization Eligibility Requirements
•    Must be a 501(c)(3) public charity in good standing with both the IRS and publicly available charity watchdog sites.
•    Must operate in or near:

o    Rochester, NY
o    Chicago, IL
o    Robert Mondavi Winery (CA)
o    The Prisoner Wine Company (CA)

CSR Focus Area Alignment
To be considered for a donation, requests must align to the following focus areas:

• Enhancing economic development in the areas of homeownership, financial literacy, and job stability in communities where we operate.
  
• Providing disaster relief, helping benefit residents, our employees, and ensuring business continuity in communities where we operate. 
  
• Promoting responsible beverage alcohol consumption.
  

Restrictions & Exclusions
We are unable to support the following:
•    Political causes, political candidates, Clubs or Associations (e.g. Parent Teacher Organizations, Fraternities, Sororities).
•    Crowdfunding sites (i.e. GoFundMe, Facebook, etc.) or requests benefitting individuals or private causes.
•    Commercial, entertainment, or sports sponsorships (professional or recreational).
•    Donation of products to events held at bars, restaurants, or other venues that legally sell alcohol.
•    Youth organizations where a donation may be perceived as targeting a non-legal drinking age demographic. 

REQUEST PROCESS:
•    Submit request electronically via our donation request form through the GrantsConnect portal.
•    Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) public charity to sign up for a Blackbaud GrantsConnect account.
•    Submit at least eight (8) weeks before the event to allow for processing time.

HOW TO DIRECT QUESTIONS FOR DONATION REQUESTS:
•    Be specific: Mention your organization name, location, and the CSR focus area your request aligns with.
•    Include timelines: Reference your event date and confirm you’re submitting at least 8 weeks in advance.
•    Use the correct form: Make sure you’ve submitted the donation request form before emailing.
