This Veterans Day, we not only take a moment to thank all of the men and women who have served in the armed forces to protect our freedom, we also thank them for bringing their unique talents and passion to our company.

According to the United States Department of Labor, the skills service members have learned and applied in real-world situations while serving in the military, make them ideal candidates to enhance an organization's productivity.

“These talented individuals have held numerous roles at Constellation, from individual contributor up to director,” said Danielle Carson, talent acquisition manager for Constellation Brands. “We value their continued commitment, and in return we will remain persistent in recruiting top military talent at Constellation.”

Constellation has a history of attending military job fairs and seeking to hire transitioning veterans. In 1998, U.S. Army Veteran Andrea Hurford attended a military hiring conference where Constellation was recruiting. After the conference, Andrea visited Mission Bell Winery where she was connected with another veteran for lunch. After learning more about Constellation, Andrea accepted a position, and the company has provided her with various opportunities to grow professionally and personally throughout the years. During her time here, Andrea has been a passionate advocate of military hiring.

Constellation Brands will be participating in an upcoming military job fair in the Rochester, N.Y. area. Please visit the Veterans Outreach Centerfor more information.
