About

Matt is Constellation’s senior vice president, public affairs reporting to Jim Bourdeau, executive vice president and general counsel. In this role, Matt is responsible for leading Constellation’s government relations team and navigating the company’s relationships with key policy influencers who are responsible for making decisions around beverage alcohol laws and regulations, international trade policy, and emerging markets such as cannabis. He will also lead the community affairs team overseeing the company’s charitable giving and social responsibility programs.

Before joining Constellation, Matt worked at Under Armour where, as vice president, global public policy, he was responsible for creating and executing the company’s public policy agenda, and served as the primary government affairs representative with members of Congress, the Administration and global government bodies. Matt served as vice president, public affairs and corporate social responsibility for five years at Beam Suntory and in a similar role at Fortune Brands for six years. He has also worked for Allied Domecq, the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, and The Century Council.
