A highly-respected industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, the award recognizes Newlands for his outstanding achievements in the beverage alcohol world.

Newlands joined Constellation Brands in 2015 as its first chief growth officer, spearheading the company’s long-term growth strategies across its beer, wine and spirits businesses. He continually progressed at Constellation, leading corporate strategy and business development, and accelerating new product development and innovation efforts. Today, Newlands is Constellation’s president and COO, overseeing all operating aspects of the company and leading the Wine and Spirits and Beer Divisions, growth and national sales organizations, finance, human resource and legal functions. As a leader in the organization, Newlands has helped advance Constellation’s diversity and inclusion programs and he serves as the executive sponsor of the Women’s Leadership Network, a program that provides women in the company networking and development opportunities.
