2010 Power 100 List    Constellation was ranked the #7 biggest brand owner in the world; Robert Mondavi Winery was named the #3 Most Powerful Wine Brand; Hardys was named the #5 Most Powerful Wine Brand; SVEDKA was named the #7 Most Powerful Vodka Brand; Paul Masson Grande Amber Brandy was named the #8 Most Powerful Brandy Brand; and Black Velvet Canadian Whisky was named the #18 Most Powerful Whisky Brand.

Ontario's (LCBO) Elsie Awards

 

Vincor Canada won "Supplier of the Year" across all beverage alcohol categories. Vincor also received the "Best New Product Launch" and "Best Image Program" awards for their new "Open" wine brand, in addition to three special recognition awards. This is the most Elsies the LCBO has ever granted a single supplier in a given year.

San Francisco International Wine Competition    Constellation wines and wineries won a number of awards, including a Best In Show Award to Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate 2007 Vidal Ice Wine, Proprietor's Reserve for Best Dessert Wine; a Best of Nation Award (Canada) for Inniskillin; and a Best of Nation Award (Germany) for blufeld.
The Beverage Information Group Growth Brand Awards   SVEDKA, Black Box, Le Terre, Kim Crawford and VACA were all given the 2010 Adams Growth Brand award.
2009    
Impact Hot Brands Awards   Award-winning brands from Constellation's portfolio: Black Box, Rex Goliath, J Roget, Night Harvest by RH Phillips, Marcus James, Kim Crawford, SVEDKA, Modelo Especial and Corona Light. This was more than any other beverage alcohol supplier in the industry.
Vinitaly 2009   Inniskillin was awarded the wine industry's "world cup" by winning gold at the 17th Annual International Wine Competition at Vinitaly 2009.
Decanter Magazine Power List   Richard Sands, Constellation's Chairman of the Board, was named No. 1 on Decanter’s Power List 2009 the top 50 people influencing the wine industry.
San Francisco International Wine Competition    Constellation wines and wineries won a number of awards, including the "Portfolio Award" for excellence across a wide spectrum of brands for Constellation Wines U.S., The Tasting Panel Magazine "Winery of the Year" award for Clos du Bois Winery, and Best Canadian Winery for Jackson-Triggs.

Meininger Verlag “Meininger Award”    Richard Sands, Chairman of the Board for Constellation Brands, is given the “ Meininger Award – Excellence in Wine & Spirit.” The award is presented by Meininger Verlag, the leading European trade publisher for publications on wine and beverages, based in Neustadt an der WeinstraBe, Germany. Richard is honored for the unprecedented expansion of Constellation Brands, which has become the largest producer of wine in the world.
